"When the production of Ballet is Beautiful was first conceived, the idea of linking quotations to the various items was mooted.  This evolved into threading the evening through the quotations, but whether to do this by projections or a voice over was a concern. "The decision to use a voice over was made easy by Ashley Dowds whose voice, diction and vocal skills enhanced the whole production. Ashley’s involvement with the exercise was a pleasure in every way.  He responded to our questions and concerns immediately and produced the final product timeously.  "Ballet is Beautiful is innovative in many ways not least by the introduction into a sphere where the spoken word is not usually included.  Ashley’s contribution to this production has added immeasurably to the original concept."
